Bring your size 11 circulars and get ready to cast on. Meredith has lots of tips and tricks on construction and modifications.

Then come back with your knitted hat on Saturday, October 5 from 10:00- noon to discuss the next step—felting. Meredith has all the info to help you finish a hat you can wear with confidence.

New Yarns

Have you seen all the Nightshifts on Ravelry made in Noro Ito? Some used two colors of Ito and others used Ito and Silk Garden Solo. Well if you loved them as much as we do, we’ve just restocked our Noro with lots of beautiful new colors in both yarns. We’ve also added new colors in Kiri, Tennen, and Sonata—you’re going to want to see these.

A cozy blanket to snuggle up in is always a good thing. The Timeless Noro Knit Blankets book offers plenty of inspiration. The Leaf Afghan would be beautiful on your couch later this winter or the Entrelac Throw is gorgeous and snuggly. Don't you love the way Noro’s solids and variegated yarns intermingle. The Slip Stitch Cowl is the perfect example of Silk Garden and Silk Garden Solo combining for a beautiful piece, and the pattern is free with yarn purchase. See, we’ve got your back.

Let’s say you’re looking for something new in a cotton/linen blend, we’ve added a bunch of colors in Juniper Moon Farm Zooey. And if you want some yarn for a cozy winter sweater, we’ve added Juniper Moon Farm Santa Cruz, a worsted weight 100% organic merino, in some great fall colors. Maybe you want something special for an evening out; well, we’ve added new colors in their Stargazer llama/silk blend that’s so lovely.

You know how we love our local dyers! We have recently brought in Trilogy Yarns from the Spokane area. Nancy has a Cashmere Merino blend that is so soft and a great price point too, its selling like crazy! We also have her Single Fingering and Sparkle Toes, a fingering weight with just a hint of sparkle.

We have so many new yarns we have had to put some of our old favorites in the clearance area to make space, you will want to come check it out!

Mark your calendars

This year our Annual Anniversary Yarn Tasting Event will be on Friday Evening December 6th at 6:00. We will do a Saturday evening event if we fill up on Friday. We don't like to leave anyone out! This event fill up fast so watch for our sign up on the classes page coming in late October.
