Here at Quintessential Knits we offer a variety of classes. Whether you are a beginner or intermediate knitter, crocheter, or you are spinning or weaving, we have something for you! We also have scheduled times each month to just come and join others who love to knit or crochet as much as you do!  If you don't see a class you want please let us know and we will make it happen.  We will also schedule private classes for you (or you and friends) at no extra cost!

Join our Crochet Along with Designer Kim Birum. You will learn all the techniques to make this beautiful Scarf/Wrap.  This CAL will take place on Thursdays October 13, 20 and 27th from 10-1.

KNIT ALONG     $15

September 14, 21, and 28 (Wednesdays)


Join our Knit Along for the Mellow Sun by Isabell Kraemer. Mellow Sun is a triangular shawl worked flat from the top down. Knitting starts from a Garter Tab Cast On, followed by a few relaxing rows in Stockinette stitch. The following Lacy Lattice Pattern, some bobbles, the 3x1 Rib and the Picot Bind Off make this a fun and entertaining knit… a versatile companion for colder days.


Learn Fair Isle   $45

September 23

In this introduction to colorwork, we will teach Fair Isle using two colors at a time and both hands, as well as Chart reading. Our project is the Georgia Tam by Marie Wallin. Kit sold separately, pattern is free.

Must be able to Knit, Purl and knit in the round.

Learn Brioche   $45

October 7

We will be learning basic Brioche flat with two colors.  Brioche is a type of knitting that is reversible (or double sided) and has a thick squishy feel. 

Must be able to knit and purl. 


Learn Continental Knit and Purl    $45

October 21

Learn to Knit and Purl Contintental. This knitting style makes some stitch patterns easier and is said to be a more ergonomic and faster way to knit.  Less hand movement is less stressful on your hands.

Learn to Spin                         Cost $40

Our Instructor Barbara Seeler will teach you the properties of fiber and how to apply that to spinning. You will begin on a drop spindle and depending on how you progress you may move to wheel spinning. This is a very informative class and Barbara is a joy to learn from!  Spindle, Wheel and Fiber are provided.
