Upcoming Sashiko Mending and Embroidered Patchwork Mending Classes and We're Hiring!
Next up in August are our Sashiko style mending class and embroidered patch mending class both taught by the fabulous MCreativeJ AKA Melissa Galbraith! Sashiko is a stylish Japanese method of mending that uses gorgeous geometric stitches to mend fabric. New Shop Hours for July
Hello and happy summer! Due to slower business, we'll be reducing our hours to being open only three days a week. We understand, it's hot and no one wants to handle wool (though we do have an entire plant-based fiber section) when it's hot and muggy out. Yarn Swap Results and Upcoming Closures
We wanted to share the "results" of the yarn swap as well as the dates of some shop closures With a HUGE amount of help from you all, we were able to donate NINE moving bags worth of yarn, needles, and notions to Sno-Valley Senior Center. For those wondering, it was around 80lbs of yarn! They were very excited about the community support. For the midwives, we were able to donate 2.5 moving bags worth of baby soft yarn and needles which they will also be very excited about. Th

Community Yarn Swap and Collection for African Midwives
This coming Saturday 5/30, from 10am-3pm, we'll be having our first ever COMMUNITY YARN SWAP! We are so excited as this has been a much requested event so we're looking forward to providing a venue for this opportunity and, if we're honest, this chance to clean out our own stashes... There are a couple rules Yarn must be full balls/skeins/hanks (no scraps this time, sorry) Yarn must have a tag that describes fiber content (for allergy purposes) Yarn must be clean (no stains)
