Upcoming Sashiko Mending and Embroidered Patchwork Mending Classes and We're Hiring!

Next up in August are our Sashiko style mending class and embroidered patch mending class both taught by the fabulous MCreativeJ AKA Melissa Galbraith!

Sashiko is a stylish Japanese method of mending that uses gorgeous geometric stitches to mend fabric. Having seen @mcreativej jeans that were mended in the Sashiko style, we're pretty excited to get our hands on this class. Saturday 8/22, 2-4pm, all materials are provided

You know what's better than just patching a hole in your clothes? Patching it with embroidery! Learn how to make beautiful embroidered mends on various fabrics, much like the mushroom and plant patches in the second photo! Sunday 8/23 12-2pm, all materials are provided but you're welcome to bring a cotton or denim garment to mend!
