and in with the new!

Those of us at Quintessential Knits would like to thank you so much for making 2016 a great year. Meeting all of you and sharing our love of yarn is always a pleasure. We appreciate each and every one of you who continue to allow us to serve your yarn needs (and wants!) We strive to bring in a large variety of all natural yarn and fiber, making it convenient for you to shop local. It is our goal to provide a friendly atmosphere and a helpful learning environment.

This year we will be hosting a monthly knit a long and trunk show.

January starts us off with the Hudson Shawl. We are knitting it with Swans Island Worsted Weight Yarn in four colors. Kits are available online (shop page) or at the shop. This pattern will teach short rows, colorwork and a knit on edging with an easy openwork portion. We have a sample at the yarn shop.

The trunk show will be Malabrigo!

February's Knit a long will be the Endless Wrap knit using Blue Sky Fibers Woolstok. We have this yarn available in the shop in all 21 colors. Our Trunk Show for February is also Blue Sky Fibers Woolstok.

We have classes that change monthly. As always our Learn to Knit or Crochet class is based on an individual session to fit your schedule. Yarn, Needles, and Written instructions are included in the price of the two hour session.
