November is here!

It’s November, time to sit in front of the fire on stormy days with a hot drink and your favorite yarn project. And we have lots of yarn and fiber for all your needs.

Fiber you say? Why yes. If you haven’t been in recently you’ve been missing out. We’ve added spinning wheels, blending boards, table looms, to our space and sell drum carders, floor looms and anything spinning and weaving from Ashford, Majacraft, Schacht, and Kromski. We also sell locally made Inkle looms.

Need some inspiration or a refresher? Sign up for Learn to Spin Wednesday, November 20, from 1-3 pm for $45, or Learn to Weave, Thursday, November 21, from 1-3 pm for $45. You’ll leave with a new appreciation for these amazing artforms.

Events

After the turkey and the special times with family and friends, it’s time for a little shopping. We’ve are joining some of the big stores on Black Friday with an Opt Outside day instead of being open for shopping. It encourages families to spend some time together outside and who wouldn’t want to do that in the beautiful Pacific Northwest! But on Small Business Saturday we have some great things planned just for you. A Pop up Shop featuring Cherish from Dandelions & Daisies will be here with her beautiful yarn and fiber. You’re going to love these colorways. We’re having a great sale, and we’ll be handing out Small Business Saturday swag while supplies last.

We’re excited to celebrate our 7th birthday and of course our annual Yarn Tasting on Friday, December 6, from 6-9 pm. This year for our spinners, we’re adding Yarn & Fiber Tasting on Saturday, December 7, from 6-9 pm. Enjoy catered treats, prizes, laughter and fun, and go home with $25+ of amazing yarn, fiber and other yarn related goodies! You don’t want to miss it. Pick either evening or both for $20 each.
