Dreaming of summer...

I'm sure all of us here in the PNW are thinking the same thing. When will the sun show itself for more than a day? Even though I would rather be on my patio with my coffee and knitting (or spinning) in the morning, I can still enjoy the slight chill in the air and the beautiful green that surrounds us. We do live in a beautiful place.

Speaking of knitting and spinning, I am currently working on the Inclinations Cowl

by Andrea Mowry using my handspun yarn. The fiber I used is from BJS Fiberworks. Her colors are varied and beautiful! We have a large selection for you to choose from. Lately I have been thinking more about knitting with my handspun. It brings me so much pleasure watching the piece come to life.

Classes

We have started having classes again. All of our "Learn To" Classes are available in person on a one-on-one basis or up to three people in a class. If you have a group that would like to learn, we can fit the class to your schedule. Just give us a call or come by! We are currently talking with instructors for other classes as well. Summer Knitting

One of my favorite summer knits is the Flex by Heidi Kirrmaier. The construction makes it an interesting knit. I used Wool and The Gang Tina Tape for this one, it is so drapey and the perfect weight for the summer months. The Yume by Isabell Kraemer is another fun quick knit. The one pictured is using Queensland United, a Wool and Cotton blend that is super soft and feels so light and airy.

Knit Group

Looking for a time to gather with other makers? We have a group that meets on Tuesdays from 12:30-3:00 every week. Bring your favorite project and knit, crochet or spin with us!
