Hopefully you’ve already heard the good news: Quintessential Knits is NOT CLOSING! It’s been acquired by Charlotte and Brandy, a relatively local mother-daughter team. We’re sure many of you are curious and have many questions but we’ll try to get the important things out of the way first:

  • We’ll be closed for business from Monday 12/8 through Friday 12/12 to do some set up, ordering, and generally get our ducks in a row. We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience and for the short notice

  • We will be OPEN for knit and spin groups. Please note that we CANNOT sell during these hours, this is strictly social. It may seem strange but we don’t want to take away your crafting spaces, even for a week. Again, we apologize for any inconvenience this may cause:

    • Tuesday 12:30pm-3pm (knit/crochet)

    • Thursday 10:30am-12:30pm (spin)

    • Thursday 5pm-8pm (knit/crochet)

  • We will be reopening at 10 am on Saturday 12/13

  • All knit/spin groups will proceed as normal the following week (week of 12/15) and moving forward

  • We WILL be restocking the store. We can’t promise we’ll be up to full stock when we reopen, but we should have considerably more full shelves by then

  • Store hours will be remaining the same for now

  • Minimal changes will be made - most of what we’ll be doing will be updating the point-of-sale system and the website

A little about us:

Charlotte is out of Snohomish and has been crafting most of her life, starting with crochet and then knitting and eventually dipping her toes into just about every aspect of fiber arts, including spinning, weaving, and dying. She’s ecstatic to own a yarn store and be in almost daily contact with yarn and fiber. She will be at the knit-in/party on Saturday if you want to say hello!

Brandy is out of Woodinville and has been knitting for about a dozen years and crocheting on and off for nearly a decade. She’s a terrible spinner but looks forward to learning more, and is excited to join and help build this community. She regrets that she won’t be at Saturday’s knit-in/party but is delighted to meet you all as we move forward.

We’re incredibly excited about this new opportunity and have already received such a warm welcome from the community that we’ve met so far. We want to thank Judy and Debbie for their years of commitment to Quintessential Knits as well as the enormous amount of support they have been providing us. We wish you both a happy and peaceful retirement and we look forward to a bright future with Quintessential Knits!
